The 1931 Beaux Arts Ball in NYC serves as inspiration for an event we are creating today!
Fashion Week 2013, The Darby NYC.
We had fun working with Anthony Coppers of WCMG Events on the launch of super model, Anja Rubik’s 25 Magazine Issue 2. Under Anja’s creative guidance, we created a long black dining chamber within The Darby. Inside, a single table was clothed in black silk and set for 50 lucky guests.
Down the center of this table we placed 200 silver taper candle holders and candelabras. In keeping with the magazine’s sexy vibe, flowers were lush and punctuated by figs and deep red pomegranates…
Half way through the dinner, one wall of the chamber opened to a musical performance bathed in video projection.
The evening went off without a hitch. Anja’s comment? ”It was perfection.” :)

We created these giant 30’ fencing sabers along with designing the stage for Olympic silver medalist Tim Morehouse’s Fencing Masters.
